Any of you who know me know that I go crazy when it comes to hot air balloons. And these three are no exception.
The bright colors are an instant mood lifter, along with the breezy embossed cloud layer and the psychedelic layer behind the sentiment. A little sponging around the cloud layer gives the card more depth.

I love this vintage British phone booth – although my version is a modern Tangerine Tango orange! A little texture courtesy of the Big Shot and Square Lattice Embossing Folder, and a flat bow finishes it off. Video coming soon on how to tie these bows.
Can you tell I love this Swallowtail stamp? This card is clean and simple, but talk about wow factor. And it’s quick and easy to do. Pool Party and Daffodil Delight shine on a background of Whisper White. Striking, in my book. Thanks to Elaine Montmorency for the idea.
Stamp Swallowtail in Versamark Ink on Whisper White card stock, and emboss with Black Embossing Powder. Sponge Pool Party and Daffodil Ink over butterfly wings as desired. Stamp sentiment in Black Stazon Ink. Layer on Basic Black mat and Whisper White card base.
Come fly away with this ethereal swallowtail butterfly! Card CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) from Mary Brown. The only thing I changed was omitting one of the black butterflies that she had on her card. I also added a small black butterfly to the inside of the card.
Tone on Tone Effect
Base of card is Crumb Cake card stock. One layer of black cardstock. Swallowtail is stamped in Crumb Cake Classic Ink on Naturals Ivory card stock. The sentiment from Bloomin’ Marvelous stamp set is stamped in Black Stazon ink on Crumb Cake card stock and layered on Very Vanilla card stock punched with the Decorative Label punch. A notched strip of stripes (say that fast three times!) from the Neutrals Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks and a super skinny strip of Crumb Cake card stock complete the embellishments.
