Why I Love a Kit

July 30, 2018 Leave a Comment

30 Jul

Ever need a card right now and have nothing ready? It’s happened to me, even though I make cards a lot. And this is why I love a kit. Because of all the time I saved not having to gather supplies, cut paper, etc., I was even able to step it up a little and make two cards!

Why I Love a Kit vertical

For my first card, the only thing I added that wasn’t in the Lots of Happy Card Kit was a strip of 5/8” polka dot tulle ribbon, which I put in a zig zag pattern behind the floral piece. Using the two included color pencils, I colored in the crisp black and white floral image and then adhered my layers with multipurpose glue, glue dots and dimensionals. Can’t get much quicker and easier than that.

Why I Love a Kit horizontal

I added a strip of the same ribbon to the second card as well as a bow I tied from Solid Whisper White Baker’s Twine.

And the Lots of Happy Card Kit did exactly what the name says—it made me happy as well as the two people who I gave the cards to. Take a peek at this kit as well as all the other kits available for purchase in my online store.
