Mirror Mirror on the Wall, Who’s the Fairest Giraffe of All?

You may wonder how I ended up with two giraffes looking at each other when there is only one giraffe stamp in the Animal Outing set…well I used an easy technique – the mirror technique. Read on to see just how easy it is.

First make sure your Memento Ink Pad is properly inked. If it is getting dry then your mirrored picture may be too light. You should also make sure the silicone craft sheet is clean.

I first stamped the giraffe on the whisper white cardstock.

Next I stamped the giraffe on the silicone craft sheet. You can see the shiny wet ink.

Then I turned the silicone craft sheet over and carefully lowered it and placed it down in the desired position.

I pressed firmly on the back of the image. Note: it is important not to rub the back of the image because that will result in a smeared impression.

Finally, I just as carefully lift the silicone craft sheet off of the paper with the image.

Now it just needs to be colored and the card assembled.
