Don’t let the weather and remaining cold winter months ahead affect your crafting mood. Use bright colors to create happiness with a card.
Although the Happiness Blooms card pack is designed to help you with memory keeping, these cheerful cards can also be used to make simple but beautiful cards.
Don’t you love the colors in the Happiness Blooms Memories & More card pack? They are so bright and cheerful: Call Me Clover, Calypso Coral, Night of Navy, Lovely Lipstick, and Pineapple Punch. Even the color names are cheerful. The card pack includes six single-sided specialty cards and 4 sticker sheets and that’s what I used on my Create Happiness card.
Supplies for Create Happiness Card:
Happiness Blooms Memories & More card pack (148531)
Pineapple Punch Cardstock (146971), 2 1/2″ square
Night of Navy (100867), 2 1/4″ square
Call Me Clover (146969), 2″ square
Whisper White (100730), 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2”, scored on long side at 4 1/4″
Pineapple Punch 1/8″ Grosgrain ribbon (146953), 10″ strip)
SNAIL adhesive (104332)
Mini Glue Dots (103683)
Step by Step Directions:
- Fold Whisper White in half to create card base.
- Trim Happiness Blooms card to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere to Whisper White card base. Save left-over strip to use on inside of card (see photo below).
- Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere Call Me Clover square to Night of Navy square and then to Pineapple Punch square. Then adhere to card front.
- Add “Love and Laughter” sticker to center of Call Me Clover square.Create Pineapple Punch bow and adhere to card front using Mini Glue Dot.
- Adhere Happiness Blooms left-over strip to inside of card.
