Whether you’re a beginner stamper, a casual stamper, or an avid stamper, the Rock N Roll Technique adds a two-tone look to stamped images. Let’s dive in to the differences in the three cards above.
Beginner Stamper
Cardstock, ink, and stamps. That’s it. Plus adhesive. Add the Rock N Roll Technique and look what you get. Ink the leaves (Layered with Kindness) in Coastal Cabana ink, then roll the edges in Granny Apple Green ink and stamped. Clean the stamp and repeat to fill the left side of Shimmery White cardstock. Rock N Roll creates beautiful, two-tone images, with no two alike. The sentiment (from the Honey Bee stamp set) was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink. The card base is Coastal Cabana, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4 on the long side. And a Shaded Spruce mat brings out the sentiment.
Casual Stamper
The casual version steps it up a little. Stamp the sentiment and punch it out with the Lovely Labels punch. Thread the top of the shape with the reversible Old Olive/Pretty Peacock ribbon and cinch with a knotted piece of white baker’s twine. Pop the piece up with dimensionals.
Avid Stamper
Last, but not least, the third version uses an embossing machine. The Shaded Spruce layer is run through the embossing machine with the Subtles embossing folder. And the sentiment is stamped on a die cut from Ornate Frames. Gold sequins scattered across the surface finish off this version.
