Brusho Background

Brusho Crystal Colours are powders that create a beautiful unique Brusho background

Brusho Crystal Colour is a fabulous product, perfect for designing your own backgrounds for cards, scrapbooking or any paper craft for that matter.  Brush Crystal Colour is a very fine powder, which explodes with color when water is applied. It is so easy to use and it comes in 5 beautifully rich colors (Prussian Blue, Gamboge, Mossy Green, Brilliant Red and Yellow). Let’s get started on a custom Brusho background.

Brusho Crystal Colour adds a brilliant burst of color every time

The fine colored powders come in tightly sealed plastic containers.  In order to keep the powder contained, simply poke 5 or 6 small pinholes in the cap.  After use you can seal them in a baggie or put tape or plastic wrap over the caps.  Shake the powder on your project in small amounts as you can add more as needed.  Spritz clean water lightly on your project, then sit back and watch the color explode and burst into many different designs.  You can add powder and water in layers as you wish.  It is all up to you, so play with it and see what designs you can come up with.  No two designs will be exactly the same.

I used Brusho for a snowy background on the card above.  It can be as light or dark as you decide.  The Brusho was used on thick Very Vanilla card stock for this card.

Check out this previous post for a watercolor look with Brusho. And here I combined Brusho Crystal Colour with an inked background for a different look and added depth.

Just go wild and try out different combinations and papers.  I hope you give this product a try and jump into a pool of possibilities for a Brusho background.
