I’ve had my Silhouette for some time now, and am just now getting around to trying out new-to-me super creative powers with the help of my daughter. The photo is of our first canvas art. We “painted” our plain stretched canvas with ModPodge and let it dry. Then we applied vinyl lettering (a bit of a learning curve there to figure out the best way to get the letters transferred over to the canvas). Another layer of ModPodge. More waiting for it to dry. A layer of gray acrylic paint. More waiting for it to dry. Mixing orange acrylic paint with water and gel medium. Flicking it randomly onto the canvas surface. More waiting for it to dry. Repeat with chartreuse green paint. More waiting for it to dry. Picking off the vinyl lettering so the base white shows through all the paint. And voila! well worth the waiting 🙂
