This Easel Shaker Card uses the Ho Ho Ho October 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit. With just a few cuts to the kit card base and a few extra pieces of paper, wow your friends and family.
Scoring & Cutting Guide

4″ x 5-1/4″ Crumb Cake |
I cut 1-1/4” in from each side on the front panel of the card base, then scored the middle flap in half at 2-1/8”.
Using the narrow diecut panel from the kit, I flipped it over and added adhesive to all four sides on the white back. Then I adhered the window sheet panel that was cut to match. Next I used pieces of foam adhesive strips to form a barrier all the way around the edges, making sure there were no gaps. For the shaker bits I used the For Everything Fancy Sequins mix. Then I sealed the back with a piece of Sweet Sorbet Designer paper, being sure to line up all of the edges. It’s kind of amazing how the pink sequins go together with the Sweet Sorbet and Cherry Cobbler!
I folded the center flap in half on the scoreline and applied adhesive to just the upper portion of the bottom half. Then I centered my shaker piece and pressed to adhere from both the front and the back.
finishing the easel shaker card
I stamped the Santa image from the kit on a matching diecut and layered him over one of the large iridescent snowflakes.
I layered the diecut ‘Ho Ho Ho’ over the vellum shadow that came in the kit. Easel cards need a stopper on the inside. I cut dimensionals in half and hid them behind the loops of the letters before adhering the diecut to the inside of the card.
And finally, I decorated the back of the card as shown for space to write a personal message.
