Eleven Ways to Use a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box

July 24, 2020 2 Comments

24 Jul

Mini Paper Pumkin Box
I must be half cat or still a child, because I love the box that Paper Pumpkin comes in almost more than the contents (just kidding.) But I am definitely in love with the Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes!

These little treasures measure 5 7/8” x 3 ¾” x 1” and are just right for holding Note Cards & Envelopes or treats. And edible treats are perfect because the boxes are food safe. Decorate the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box to match the occasion and the recipient.

Need ideas on ways to decorate the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box? Look no further than the Annual Catalog, as I found eleven examples for inspiration. Pick a technique or two or three and swap out colors, stamps or ribbons to customize your Mini Paper Pumpkin for any occasion!

Page 12 — Spritz the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box with your favorite diluted ink refill in a Stampin’ Spritzer for a base color.  Then stamp images with ink and add a coordinating belly band.

Add cardstock dividers to the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box for a custom kit

A Mini Paper Pumpkin Box makes a great mini suitcase

Cover the surface of a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box with a Sponge Brayer

Use Designer Series Paper to cover a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box

Spritz a stencil image onto a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box

Page 62 – Another example of spritzing, but this time using the negative of diecut snowflakes as a stencil

Use a mask and a sponge dauber to polka dot a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box

Add a card front panel to the top of the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box

Diluted Highland Heather is similar to Purple Posy on this Mini Paper Pumpkin Box

Page 101 – If you use half as much Highland Heather ink refill as you typically would in a Stampin’ Spritzer, you get a Purple Posy color

Use acrylic paint mixed with a few drops of reindeer to paint a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box

Page  102 – Mix white acrylic paint with several drops of Petal Pink re-inker. Use a thicker based acrylic to prevent the paint being too runny. Cover box with thin layers of paint with a foam brush and let dry between each layer.

Wrap a belly band around a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box
