Forever Fern

Forever Fern is gorgeous in any color

UPDATED: Check out the updated version of this same card layout, including measurements

Here’s a sneak peek of my absolute favorite stamp from the upcoming new Annual Catalog – Forever Fern! And it’s breathtaking in any color. I used shades of brown – Crumb Cake (lightest), Soft Suede (midtone) and Early Espresso (darkest) for my card, with a touch of gold embossing and new gold trim.

I made my own designer series paper by stamping images from Forever Fern on a strip of Whisper White cardstock. Then I lined up a skinny strip of Early Espresso and a wider strip of Soft Suede to make a mat. I stamped the focal image in Early Espresso and cut it out with the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes die. Popping the oval up on Dimensionals adds some height. I embossed the sentiment in gold and added a double bow in gold trim.

The new Annual Catalog has a whole suite that goes with the Forever Fern stamp set called Forever Greenery. And shades of green are the highlight:  Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, Soft Sea Foam and the new In Color Just Jade. The DSP is luscious, and so are the matching accessories. I’ll be featuring pieces from the Forever Greenery suite here and on Instagram and Facebook, so stay tuned. Order your own Forever Fern stamp set starting June 3.

Thank you so much Tracey — it’s impossible to make a bad card with this set, and it is easy! A good way to start is pick 2 or 3 colors and stamp away 🙂
