It’s my mom’s birthday this month – happy birthday Mom! I wanted to create a light, airy spring-feeling birthday card for my mom and came up with this beauty. My mom loves nature and I thought the beautiful green leaves showcased in the Serene Scenery designer series paper were perfect for a starting point. I die cut two dragonflies and glued them together in the middle. Gently bending the wings adds dimension and movement. That strip of polka dotted paper is the back side of the leafy paper. A bit of glitz from embossing the greeting and a strip of glittery gold ribbon add the finishing touches. Bonus points for the green and gold color scheme because those are Green Bay Packer colors and my mom is a diehard Cheesehead.
