April showers bring May flowers – Happy May Day! When I was a kid, we used to pick spring flowers from our neighbors’ yards, put them in a paper cone, hang them on the doorknob of our neighbors, press the bell, and run and hide. Our neighbors probably would have like it better if the flowers weren’t already their own 🙂
These 3D flowers are created by simple circles. Punch or die cut any size circles you wish from shimmer white card stock. Snip from one edge to the middle. Apply a little Tombow adhesive to the top of one of the cut edges, and overlap the edges as little or as much as you’d like to make a conical shape out of your circle. The flower centers are a narrow strip of the shimmer white card stock that I fringed with paper snips, rolled up, and glued to the center of the flowers.
And the whitewashed barn boards are easy to do; I’ll share those instructions at my next class.
