Horsing Around

I love horsing around with the gorgeous Let It Ride horse. Just something about horses that I’ve loved since I was a little girl. This particular beauty was colored with an Aqua Blender dipped in ink from stamp pads. I used the turn-upside-down-and-squish-the-case method with the old-style ink pads to put the ink in the lid of the pad. And I swiped the ink pad surface across a clear acrylic block to make a pool of ink with the new-style ink pads. Only have markers? Then just scribble on a clear acrylic block with the marker and dip the aqua painter brush in the color. Since I was using regular Whisper White cardstock instead of watercolor paper, I did not layer the watercolors. One pass of each color where I wanted it, and I was done.
