Want to add a little (or a lot!) of shimmer and shine to your handmade cards? Then check out Stampin’Up!’s Shimmer Paint on page 38 of the Holiday catalog. There are four colors to choose from: Champagne Mist, Bright Copper, Frost White, and Vegas Gold. Or don’t choose one and get them all.
Not sure how to use this versatile product? Here are some ideas on how to add shimmer to get you started:
- Sponge it on a stamp, stamp as usual, clean stamp with the Shammy or Stampin’ Mist and the Stampin’ Scrub
- Sponge the Shimmer Paint directly on cardstock with Stamping Sponges
- Use a Sponge Dauber and dab up paint from the lid, then press repeatedly onto your project
- Stamp and heat set on fabric, such as the Santa’s bags (p. 19)
- Mix with rubbing alcohol in a Stampin’ Spritzer and spray onto your project
