I saw a vellum poinsettia somewhere out on the Internet, and I loved it so much I turned around and ordered the Reason for the Season bundle so I could make my own version. I cut the petals from Vellum Cardstock, and embossed each petal with silver embossing powder. Then I sponged the backside of each petal with Bermuda Bay classic ink. I assembled the layers with Multipurpose Glue. And then I punched out two of the pistils (center portion of the flowers) from Silver Glimmer Paper and layered them on top.
I made a white version, too, just embossed the petals with White Embossing powder and used an Ice Rhinestone for the center.
These are very pretty strung together on a length of silver baker’s twine to make a garland. And if Frozen is still a hot topic in your house, these flowers would make a gorgeous Elsa crown!
