Need a card for that special guy and tired of the usual tie/mustache/tools/sports themes? Try a nature theme with a metallic accent for a masculine card. I used the Bamboo Beauty stamp set and stamped Soft Succulent ink on Soft Succulent cardstock for a tone-on-tone look. I also stamped and fussy cut one of the bamboo stems on a scrap piece of cardstock and popped it up with a few dimensionals.
Faux Metallic Embellishment
Heat emboss, heat emboss and heat emboss again! Three layers of heat embossing create such depth and realism. And the sentiment really pops. To make your own faux metal embellishment, die cut image out of a scrap of cardstock, press it face down on a VersaMark ink pad and heat emboss with copper embossing powder. Then let the piece cool for 10-20 seconds and repeat the VersaMark and embossing two more times. TIP: Use a tweezers to hold the die cut to prevent burning your fingers.
Change out the sentiment and this masculine card is perfect for any recipient and occasion.
