More Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

Pile of greeting cards as Paper Pumpkin Alternatives from the January 2025 Hearts for You kit. Red, white, and shades of pink cards, with multiple hearts and gold foil touches.

Paper Pumpkin Alternatives piled up quickly this month! I couldn’t stop making different variations with the January 2025 Hearts for You Paper Pumpkin kit. Last count was over 20 and I still have a few pieces left. I did add in some Basic White cardstock for bases to really stretch the supplies. And I wasn’t shy about chopping up all of the envelopes to use as card elements. Want to see some of my creations? Scroll on!

White card with center panel of diagonal striped shades of red, You're My Favorite sentiment on white banner strip accented with tiny pink heart embellishment and two rows of pink interlocking hearts.

A piece of envelope runs across the center of this card. I used a blending brush to add Real Red ink to two of the heart strips.

Fold Back Fun Fold card as a Paper Pumpkin Alternative. Diagonal red stripes decorate a white card base. A filigree gold heart graces a Postage Stamp Die cut piece. A banner declares to Celebrate Love.

This is another version of the Fold Back Fun Fold card I posted here. I pulled the Postage Dies die cut from my scrap pile to use as the front flap.

A row of white connected hearts, a large red heart and a gold foil heart outline lay on a pink marbled layer over a red diagonal pattern on this white card base.

Use an odd number of elements as a design trick. And note that the bottom point of all three different hearts end at a different plane.

A white card base with three strips of red diagonal patterned paper and three rows of white connected hearts are accented with a red twine bow and a 'Love' stamped sentiment.

Groups of three act as the design element here. I added three strips of diagonal patterned paper from a kit card base and three strips of connected hearts.

Paper Pumpkin Alternatives can be created with Add-On dies like the Spring is in the Air set. White card base with scalloped heart outline, solid pink heart, and scripted 'Love" greeting.

For more Paper Pumpkin Alternatives, use the Add-On dies Spring is in the Air to create the scalloped heart outline and the solid heart outline with one pass. Real Red ink on a blending brush creates the sweet blush.

Paper Pumpkin Alternatives are easy to make with bits and pieces. Basic White card base, with a layer of diagonal stripes, a partial diecut card front with hearts of varying sizes and more die cut hearts spread across the front. A giant gold foil die cut 'Love' spans the largest heart.

Paper Pumpkin Alternatives are easy to make with bits and pieces. Part of an envelope, part of a card front, and scattered die cuts pull this card together.
