Gotta love my Valentine-themed Paper Pumpkin Alternative! In addition to the kit supplies, I used one box from the add-on Kisses & Hugs Mini Treat Boxes. I also used a sheet of Very Vanilla cardstock, the Timber 3D embossing folder, Flirty Flamingo ink, and a blender brush to the supplies already included in the Paper Pumpkin kit.
The card base is Very Vanilla cardstock cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored on the long side at 4-1/4″. Then cut a 1-1/4″ strip from the front right side. With that strip measuring 1-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, I cut off 2-1/4″ for a final measurement of 1-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. Score the long side at 3/4″, creating a flap.
Fold the strip on the score line, add glue to the back and align the scoreline with the right edge of the inside of the card back. Next, I cut open the gold embossed box from the add-on kit and trimmed the long piece to 1-1/4′ X 5-1/4″. After trimming, adher the strip along the inside right of the card base, covering the small flap.
Sponge Flirty Flamingo ink with a blender brush onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock cut to 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″. Embossed it with the Timber 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front left of my card base. Next I glued a large Flirty Flamingo heart on the left side of the long closed flap. Glue down the arrow and pop the small white square up on dimensionals.
Add a second large Flirty Flamingo to the back of the long flap, popping the heart up on dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment on the inside with Flirty Flamingo.
