Pool Party Favorites

Pool Party favorites add up to one awesome GOAT!

Pool Party is one of my all-time favorite colors so I’ve went on a Pool Party Favorites bender. I’ve been drooling over the Pool Party Sheer Ribbon since it hit the catalog in June and I love it paired with this sassy goat from Way To Goat. The polka dots and the hit of pink from Flirty Flamingo add even more sass.

TIP: Create a background paper with the polka dot mask from Basic Pattern Decorative Masks and a sponge dauber. I inked up my sponge dauber with Pool Party ink. Using a circular motion, I sponged the ink over the mask on Pool Party cardstock. Custom designer series paper at your fingertips!

See that pink background on the sentiment strip? After stamping the greeting in Memento black ink on a strip of Shimmery White cardstock, I swiped across the strip with a Light Flirty Flamingo Blend to get a sheer wash of color. The sheerness of the pink coordinates with the sheerness of the Pool Party ribbon.

I colored Miss Gerty with watercolor pencils on a diecut rectangle of Shimmery White cardstock and used a Blender Pen to smooth out the color. A few swipes of a Light Pool Party Blend ground her.

And since I was on a roll, I created a small herd of goats – love them all!
