Create a whole forest with the Quadruple Easel Fun Fold Card! I made my fun fold using stamps from the The Best There Is May 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit. No specialty dies or anything special was used other than some cardstock from my stash and some retired embellishments for the stoppers. Let’s get started!

instructions for quadruple easel fun fold card
Cut four equal pieces measuring 1-3/4″” x 2-3/8″ each from the woodgrain envelope. I used the flap and the back portions of my envelope, saving the bigger front for another project. Cut four equal pieces measuring 1-7/8″ x 2-1/2″ each from the 2-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ Basic Beige cardstock. Adhere the woodgrain pieces on the Basic Beige pieces.
Score a piece of 3-3/4″ x 10″ Basic Beige cardstock down the middle on the short side at 1-7/8″. Then cut into four equal pieces measuring 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″. With a piece in landscape position, score from the top left corner to the bottom of the center scoreline.
Repeat for the remaining three pieces. Flip the pieces over so the diagonal runs from the top right corner to the bottom center scoreline. Using the bottom of the kit Stampin’ Spot as a stamp, ink the spot with Misty Moonlight ink and randomly stamp on the left unscored side of each piece of cardstock. It doesn’t matter if the image crosses the middle scoreline or if the image is uneven. Rustic is good.
Fold the right side over the left side of each piece (the opposite of a book) and burnish.
Open to lie flat. Fold the diagonal over to the right side and burnish.
Adhere the Misty Moonlight mat to the card base. Glue all four backwards ‘books’ (with the open left sides) onto the Misty Moonlight mat, spacing evenly.
Glue the woodgrain pieces to the four Basic Beige mats. Add liquid glue to the bottom left triangle and adhere the matted woodgrain pieces.
decorating the front
Stamp the tree images multiple times on a scrap of Basic Beige cardstock in Misty Moonlight and Wild Wheat. Stamp the accent foliage image in Wild Wheat on the Misty Moonlight trees and vice verse. Fussy cut the tree images, cutting some apart and keeping some together. Adhere the trees on the front panels as shown in the sample. Stamp the sentiment in Misty Moonlight on a scrap of Basic White cardstock and adhere to the lower left panel. Stamp another set of trees on the inside of the card.
Push each panel up and to the side, and use a Faux Sea Glass Shape (retired) as a stopper.
And best of all, the card folds flat for mailing!
I filmed the making of this Quadruple Easel Fun Fold Card and posted it over on my YouTube channel, so check it out. Imagine all the possibilities with swapping out the stamps and cardstock – I bet the Hot Air Balloon stamp set would be fabulous too.
