Tea Time

April 8, 2019 Leave a Comment

8 Apr

Tea Together and Petal Promenade do all the work for you on this bright floral card!

Is it tea time? This card is so not my usual style, but it’s a good thing to try new things! These cards bring the Tea Together stamp from the Occasions Catalog and the Beautifully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper (Petal Pink) together for very feminine cards.

More tea time with a slightly different color palette!

Supplies
Tea Together Stamp Set 148779
Beautifully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper (Petal Pink) 148812
Petal Pink Card Stock 146985
Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper 146913
Strong and Beautiful Stamp Set 148732
Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers

Instructions

  1. Cut Petal Pink Cardstock 5” x 7”. Cut the DSP to 4 ¾” x 6 ¾”.
  2. Using one of the fancy rectangles on the laser cut sheet, adhere it to the DSP by sponging Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of the laser sheet. (Or use the fine tip glue pen.)
  3. Stamp your teapot and cup & saucer on the petal pink CS then fussy cut them out.
  4. Stamp a small rosebud and a rose with black Memento ink, and color with alcohol ink. I used the Pumpkin Pie light and dark and Lovely Lipstick light and dark. I used the Shaded Spruce light and dark for the leaves.
  5. Glue these decorative pieces on the cup & saucer and the teapot.
  6. For the sentiment on the 7 X 5 card I used a stamp from Strong & Beautiful and the two sizes of water framelits from Lily Framelit Dies. They fit in each other beautifully.
  7. The sentiment for the 5 X 7 card is from the Dear Doily stamp set.
