Another clean and simple classic card. There is a little trick to getting the tree stamped behind the beaver, and it’s called masking. I stamped the beaver in Soft Suede on Whisper White cardstock. Then I stamped him again on a piece of scrap paper, and fussy cut inside the outline. I swiped a teeny tiny bit of SNAIL on the back, and ran my finger over it a few times to make it less sticky. Then I placed my cut out version – the mask with the adhesive – over the stamped image on the cardstock. Then I stamped my tree, and removed the mask. Now there is added dimension without layers of bulk on my card. A quick swipe through the Big Shot with an Oval Framelit, a slightly bigger Oval Framelit for a colorful mat, and my base of Whisper White cardstock. And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped on the edge of the flap for another quick burst of matching Tangelo Twist color.
