You may think I’m crazy, but it really is time to at least start planning your Christmas Cards. Here it is late September already and before you know it Halloween will have come and gone. If you don’t have your cards ready to mail by Thanksgiving Day, odds are good you won’t get them finished and mailed before Christmas. Here’s what you need to do:
1) Determine how many cards you want to make and when you need them completed by.
2) Choose a stamp set and plan out the design. Order the supplies if you don’t have them. Consider creating less complex Christmas cards if time is a problem. See my sample card above for a simple but elegant Christmas card.
3) Set aside time to get your cards finished before the date you set.
My sample uses the Perfectly Plaid bundle and other items from the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Holiday Catalog and the 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalog. See the 2019 Holiday Catalog for other ideas using the Wrapped in Plaid Suite of products.
With this plan in place, making Christmas Cards is doable. And who doesn’t love getting a handmade card in the mail?
