Toadstools meet Country Woods for Week #2 of Monday Mashup. I made my Monday Mashup card and uploaded it to FB but completely forgot about uploading it here with a few more details! The woodsy paper inspired the toned down colors for the Terrific Toadstools instead of the bright colors I’ve used in the past.
I paired Country Woods patterned paper with the Terrific Toadstools and Elements of Text stamp sets for a whimsical walk in the woods card. Inks are Basic Beige, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Cajun Craze, Pool Party and Pretty Peacock. I used 2nd generation ink with more ink added to the stamp with a sponge dauber to get the color variations on the mushrooms, stems and ground. Blending brushes and a masked circle add depth to the background.
