Veterans Day Flanders Field Poppy
“In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row”

Wearing red poppies to celebrate veterans began with those lines in a poem, written for those who died in a Belgian field in World War I. My poppy started as three 6 1/2″ circles from the Cherry on Top cotton paper assortment. Tombow multi glue and a few well placed snips later, and I have a poppy that will forever honor veterans.
