Up Up and Away Birthday Balloons
Bright pink balloons floating above the clouds shout a cheerful happy birthday greeting. Card base is Soft Sky, sponged with Tempting Turquoise, Pacific Point and Night of Navy. TIP: Use a circular motion and a light touch. Clouds are stamped with white Craft ink. Polaroid frame is cut from heavy Whisper White cardstock with a square thinlet and Big Shot. Greeting is stamped with Archival Basic Black ink. Frame has Dimensionals on the back to create a 3D effect. Balloons are stamped with Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo classic ink and punched out with the Balloon Bouquet punch. To create dimension, one balloon is glued directly to the cardstock, a second balloon is layered on top with one Dimensional, and the third balloon is positioned in front of the Polaroid frame with two Dimensionals on the back of it. Knotted silver thread is glued to the balloon openings with a Fine Tip Glue Pen, and allowed to hang freely. And a bit of Wink of Stella in clear creates some sparkle and shine to the tops of the balloons.
