What’s cookin’ at your house? It’s too hot to cook anything here this summer, but a salad sure sounds good. The checked background comes from the oh so useful Pattern Party DSP pack. And the Rich Razzleberry strip highlights the onion and contrasts with the tomato chunks and bowl.
Don’t see a lettuce stamp or an onion stamp in the catalog? Ever since my daughter was little, she has seen things that others don’t see. And she saw lettuce in flowers and onion in a tomato. The small floral image from Art Gallery turned magically into lettuce by inking in Granny Apple Green, and stamping the image repeatedly. Then it was a matter of fussy cutting to fit the lettuce in the bowl.
The tomato from What’s Cookin’ became an onion by inking in Rich Razzleberry, trimming off the stem, and adding some more color to the center with a Fresh Freesia Blend. And the tomato stayed a tomato, but was chopped into two pieces.
And finally, a chalkboard sign announces it’s time to eat.
