Origami Box

View of Origami Box with coordinating top and bottom.

Take a square piece of paper. Fold. Fold. And fold again. And now you have a box top! I love origami and this Origami Box dressed for Christmas is so stinking cute. Amazing how folding paper over and over turns into a 3D object. Watch my Instagram reel to see this box come together.

Origami Box with top off to show inside of bottom box

Make this box any size you’d like. I started with a 6″ square for my lid. I cut the square for the bottom at 5 3/4″, a quarter inch less. Fold exactly the same. No adhesive necessary. I can just picture a whole bowl full of these little boxes using all the different patterns from the adorable Whimsy and Wonder DSP.

Fill an Origami Box with a special tea light, jewelry, or any other tiny gift you can think of. And of course, there’s always candy!
